frog sits on my steps
eye wonder why she moves not
her poem is concrete

after rain-a toad
hops up to our door, and waits
will we welcome her?

for a frog to move
she must have a good reason
usually,us.

much magick is frog
she leaps and she sings and croaks
anytime she wants!

forget leaping in!
this frog stays outside the pond-
laughing at Basho!

green is my tree frog
she is small ,quite beautiful-
like bonsai haiku!

she sits in her pond
defining all around her
just by being there.

some eat their frogs' legs
think of all the legless frogs
lamed-thanks to Basho!

world in a frog's eye round and deep as water is
dare you leap on in?

frogs eat our insects
natural eco-balance
and we eat frogs legs.

if we could speak frog-
would it be in Japanese?
haiku(subtitled?)

water goes with frog
like Basho goes with haiku
but frogs live longer!

Frog on lily pad
dives deep into warm water;
No more ripples felt.

One of nature's leaps
distances itself from man;
A tiny tadpole.

Frog is dissected;
Man's way to learn about life,
through the path of death.

Tiny hands reach out.
Children love to touch nature,
The frog gets away.

Fly, cricket, spider.

Her beauty slept .... so
deep her drugged barbituate
sleep that none knew what

might have caused her death
like trance ...the little men watched
awaiting a prince

who was lost as well....
trapped within a frog, waiting
for the princess' kiss.

What strange twist of fate
built this prison..key turned by
jealousy's apple?
